Sitol^® M.E.D. is a high-quality professional adhesive-sealant based on hybrid polymers. It hardens by reaction with moisture to form a permanently elastic mass. It exhibits rapid hardening and high initial adhesion, permanent elasticity from -40 to +100°C. Absorbs vibrations and acoustically insulates glued elements. High resistance to UV radiation, ageing in general, chemicals and salt water. Does not shrink or flake. Free of solvents and isocyanates. It is a structural adhesive developed specifically for bonding and sealing glass, both mineral and organic, in the marine industry. It adheres without primer on typical nautical industry materials, natural and synthetic, smooth and porous, even wet, provided they are clean, degreased and compact. Adheres to wet substrates. High mechanical resistance. Thanks to its chemical resistance characteristics, it can be used for sealing in exposed areas.
