Sealants and Adhesives
Low Modulus
- Suitable for construction, civil engineering and prefabricated elements
- High UV resistance
- High adhesion
- 30 years proven efficiency
Low Modulus is a neutral cured silicone sealant with the lowest elastic modulus amongst elastomeric sealants. It has been demonstrated that its elasticity remains constant at temperatures ranging from –50 °C to +150 °C, and thus it compensates for the manufacturing and installation tolerances of partition orcurtain walls. It adheres perfectly to the support, that may be any kind of absorbent material. The high resistance to UV rays and atmospheric agents, and resistance to ageing that is higher than any other non-silicone sealant, ensure that even after 20 years of service, the joints show no trace of superficial cracks or rumbling. It is selfextinguishing and therefore classified in the DIN 4102 class B1. Low Modulus complies with the standard UNI EN ISO 11600, class F 25 L.
Since it has been specifically formulated for the requirements of the building industry, Low Modulus is the most appropriate silicon sealant for sealing expansion joints and connections between concrete, metal, plastic or wood facades, between prefabricated concrete panels, partition walls and upright, between windows and walls, between ceramic wall tiles, between external pipes and pipe connections and walls.
